Biography

Indie is from the Sonoma Province, where she learned to climb. Cassia first meets her at the work camp in one of the Western Provinces.

Indie tells Cassia that her mother carved a boat out of an old tree and used it to paddle away. Her mother told the officials that she just wanted to try it out, but later told her family she meant to leave. Because of this incident the Officials gave her family red tablets.While Indie told the story that her mother built the boat and tried to leave, the story was actually about Indie. This incident caused Indie to be reclassified as an Aberration.

Cassia thinks that Indie is in love with Xander. Eventually she loves Ky If she had been able to attend a Match Banquet, she would have chosen a blue dress.

Indie trains with the rising to be an errand pilot and is one of the best. She prefers the older style planes over the new ones.

She kisses Ky one night after a mission to Oria Province. She is the member of the Rising that picks up Cassia to transport her to Ky.

She was infected with the mutation and ran with her air ship until the fuel was empty. Her ship crashed in the old Enemy territory. The Rising couldn't spare anyone to retrieve her body.
